Annual Alachua Home Grown Farm Tours

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Cooperative Extension Office is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Alachua Home Grown Farm Tours on Thursday, May 10, 2012, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., leaving from the Extension Office (2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville).  The cost is $20.00, which includes lunch and transportation. The tour is on a first come first served basis with payment needed for reservation.

The tour will visit several agricultural farms including: blueberry, vegetable, beef cattle, tree nursery, and a local winery.
