ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County has published a stand-alone website for the upcoming “Moving Alachua County Forward” sales surtax, which will appear on the November 4, 2014 ballot.
The website serves as a repository of information for citizens wishing to find out more about the sales surtax, as well as the projects which the tax will fund. The site offers an interactive map of all of the projects (including roads, transit, and bicycle/pedestrian projects) for the unincorporated County as well as each County municipality. It also contains relevant videos, a calendar of upcoming events, common questions and answers, and contact information for more information and to schedule events.
The website is formatted to be viewable on all computer browsers as well as mobile and tablet devices.
