Westside Town Hall Meeting

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL. - In order to update, inform, and communicate with citizens, a Town Hall Meeting will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 5:30 PM at the Oak Hall School Auditorium located at 8009 SW 14th Ave. Gainesville, Florida. 

 

The subject of the meeting is "Property Tax Reform.'  Alachua County Commissioner Chair Paula M. DeLaney will host the event.  Presenters will include:

  • Paula DeLaney, Chair Alachua County Commission
  • Randall H. Reid, Alachua County Manager
  • Becky Rountree City of Gainesville Administrative Services Director

Invitations are being extended to the local state delegation and it is hoped one or more will attend.

 

In speaking of the Westside Town Hall Meeting Commissioner DeLaney said, "Communications is a fundamental value at the County.  We welcome and encourage citizens to attend and add their voices to this important discussion."

 

Light refreshments will be served.
