Sucara Presents "Alternative Futures"

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Deputy County Manager Richelle Sucara is presenting today, February 19, 2009, at the Florida Government Finance Officer Association (FGFOA) in Altamonte Springs, Fl. Her presentation is part of the FGFOA Fiscal Survivors Seminar.  For more information on FGFOA, click here.

Ms. Sucara will be speaking about "Alternative Futures", a program instituted by Alachua County Manager Randall H. Reid designed to creatively engage both citizens and county employees in a constructive process to explore alternative ways for government to approach service delivery in these challenging economic times.  To view Ms. Sucara's PowerPoint presentation click here.

In speaking of the Alternative Futures project, Manager Reid said, "One cannot plan locally to control world events, but we can prepare to be more sustainable and resilient in our own community."
