ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Cooperative Extension is pleased to announce an upcoming Goat & Sheep Workshop conducted by Cindy Sanders, Director, Alachua County Cooperative Extension. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, 6 p.m., at the Alachua County Cooperative Extension Office, (2800 NE 39th Avenue, Gainesville). There is a $6.00 registration fee (a meal will be included). Sheep and goat producers will have the opportunity to see first-hand the basics of small ruminant management.
