ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - October 12th through October 16th, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Alachua County Health Department will be observing National Latino HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (October 15th). In support of this important public health initiative, the Alachua County Health Department (224 SE 24th Street, Gainesville) will be providing free and confidential HIV counseling and testing. The free test utilizes the OraQuick Advance finger stick test and citizens will only have to wait 20 minutes for their HIV results.
