Tuesday, November 10, 2009 4:00 PM

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Tropical Storm Ida made landfall this morning and has moved northward.  Though other regions of the United States have had significant rainfall and high winds, none of those conditions have existed in the Alachua County area.  As a result, 3-1-1 is deactivated.

Remember, in case of emergency or pending storm, 3-1-1 will always be activated so there will be a ready source of information to keep the citizens of Alachua County up to date.
