ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County invites veterans in North Central Florida to the “Veteran Job Fair.” The job fair is Thursday, January 15, 2015, beginning at 9 a.m., at the Senior Recreation Center (5701 N.W. 34th St., Gainesville). The event is free and open to all who have served in the military.
The Veteran Job Fair event is sponsored in partnership with Alachua County, CareerSource North Central Florida, the City of Gainesville, the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Santa Fe College, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and UF's Collegiate Veteran Success Center
Alachua County Economic Development Coordinator Edgar Campa-Palafox said, “If you served in the military and you are looking for a job opportunity, come and speak with more than 40 regional employers and apply for current openings.”
