ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – Wet conditions are expected to bring an early mosquito season. To prevent mosquito-borne diseases, the Florida Department of Health in Alachua County recommends practicing “Drain and Cover."
DRAIN and COVER
DRAIN standing water to stop mosquitoes from multiplying.
COVER your skin with clothing and use mosquito repellent.
COVER doors and windows with screens to keep mosquitoes out.
