Advisory Board Openings

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – More than 250 citizens serve on the boards that advise the County Commission and local agencies. The boards deal with subjects such as affordable housing, economic development, environmental protection, human rights, County finances and many other topics. A great way to become engaged and involved in your County government is to serve on one of these boards.

Alachua County Housing Finance Authority
The County Commission will appoint four citizens to the Alachua County Housing Finance Authority on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

Alachua County Board of Adjustment
The County Commission will appoint three citizens to the Alachua County Board of Adjustment on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 28, 2012.

Rural Concerns Council
The County Commission will appoint four citizens to the Alachua County Rural Concerns Council on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, November 28, 2012

WellFlorida Council
The County Commission will appoint three citizens to the WellFlorida Council on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, December 12, 2012.

CHOICES Advisory Board
The County Commission will appoint two citizens to the Alachua County CHOICES Advisory Board on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
