Interstate 75 Nighttime Northbound and Southbound Detour

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – Beginning Monday, May 9, through Friday, May 13, 2016, from midnight to 4 a.m., a portion of southbound Interstate 75 will be closed. Drivers traveling south on Interstate 75 will be detoured to Newberry Road (Exit 387), then to S.W. 34th Street (State Road 121), then to Archer Road (State Road 24), and finally back to Interstate 75 South.

The Newberry Road (State Road 26) Interstate 75 southbound on-ramp will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to Tower Road, then to Archer Road (State Road 24), and finally to Interstate 75 South.

The detour is needed to place bridge beams for the Celebration Pointe (S.W. 30th Avenue) Bridge Project.
