The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.
The Committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting will not be available on Cox Cable Channel 12. The public may view the meeting on the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), and the County’s Video on Demand website.
Items for the Development Review Committee Meeting include:
Celebration Pointe Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Block 1 – This is a revised Final Development Plan to construct track & field amenities to serve athletes at the Alachua County Event Center on approximately 0.44 acres. It is located on a portion of Tax Parcel Number 06820-002-000 at 2650 Bass Pro Shops Blvd.
Heatherwood - Lot 23 – This is a replat to amend setbacks to current zoning district standards on approximately 0.2 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 06134-023-000 at 3815 NW 57th Ter.
Feed My Sheep Learning Center – This is a revised Final Development Plan to construct a new 3,718 SF day care building and associated infrastructure on approximately 4.71 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel 16134-053-000 at 2303 SE 27th Street.
Buchanan Trails Subdivision Amenity Center – This is a revised Final Development Plan to construct a recreational area with a pavilion, playground, dog park, and parking on approximately 1.49 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 04308-001-000 at 1485 NW 127th Dr.
