On June 8, 2022, the Alachua County Clerk of Court and Comptroller’s Office was recognized by the Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers Association for excellence in having completed the Best Practices Excellence Program in all twelve of the categories offered.

Additionally, Alachua County Clerk’s General Counsel Jean Sperbeck was awarded the Pinnacle of Service Award by the Clerk’s Association for her leadership and tireless commitment to developing and furthering best practices being used by Clerk's Offices throughout the state.
