CHOICES Grant Review Process

The Department of Community Support Services welcomes citizen involvement in the Community Health Offering Innovative Care and Educational Services (CHOICES) grant review process and encourages interested Alachua County residents to apply to serve as a CHOICES Citizens' Grant Review Committee member.  Citizens selected to serve on this committee are tasked with responsibility for reviewing and evaluating grant application materials submitted by agency grant applicants and making funding recommendations within the CHOICES budget for consideration and approval by the Board of County Commissioners.

To be considered for selection as a CHOICES Citizens' Grant Review Committee member, interested individuals must make application directly to the Community Support Services Department.

The Community Support Services Department will resume taking applications for membership on the next grant review committee prior to the start of the CHOICES FY18-19 grant year cycle, anticipated for the spring of 2018.

Thank you for your continued interest in serving on this grant review committee, and please check back on this website page in early 2018 for more details or to obtain a copy of the application form, or contact the CHOICES Program Manager at 352-264-6707 for more information.
