CHOICES Grant Review Process
CHOICES Grant Review Process

The Department of Community Support Services welcomes citizen involvement in the Community Health Offering Innovative Care and Educational Services (CHOICES) grant review process and encourages interested Alachua County residents to apply to serve as a CHOICES Citizens’ Grant Review Committee Member. Citizens selected to serve will be tasked with the responsibility for reviewing and evaluating grant application materials submitted by local non-profits and governmental agencies. Committee members will make funding recommendations within the CHOICES budget for consideration and approval by the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC).

To be considered for selection, interested individuals must make application directly to the Community Support Services Department. The Department will resume taking applications for membership on the next grant review committee following BoCC authorization of the next CHOICES grant procurement. Information regarding the procurement and committee membership will be posted to this page.

Please contact Cindy Bishop, CHOICES Program Manager, cbishop@alachuacounty.us for more information about the grant review committee.

Thank you for your continued interest.
