The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 6 p.m. This is a hybrid meeting. The public may attend and participate (offer comments) in this meeting virtually and in-person.
The public who attend in-person must wear a facial covering at all times. Public seating will be made available up to the capacity that permits adequate social distancing.

CPA-01-21 (Celebration Pointe Transit Oriented Development Comprehensive Plan Text/Map Amendment) – This is a request for amendments to the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan: amending Objective 1.9 of the Future Land Use Element (Celebration Pointe Transit Oriented Development) and a small-scale map amendment amending parcel 06800-006-002 and portions of parcel 06820-002-000 from Tourist/Entertainment, Medium Density Residential (greater than 4, up to 8 dwelling units/acre) and Recreation land uses to Celebration Pointe Mixed-Use land use. The Celebration Pointe Transit Oriented Development site is located to the west of Interstate 75 and to the north of S.W. Archer Rd. on approximately 246 acres.
