The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

ZOS-03-17 (Harrington Special Use Permit) – This is a request by Stephanie Harrington, agent, for Harrington Land Trust, owners, for a special use permit to allow a package treatment plant. The site is 20.9 acres with an ‘A’ (Agriculture) zoning district and has future land use designations of Tourist/Entertainment and Rural Agriculture. The special use permit, if approved, would allow a package treatment plant (for the treatment of sewage) to be established on the site to serve a hotel located on the same parcel.
