2-15-23 Planning Commission Meeting

The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m. Masks for vulnerable citizens are strongly recommended.

The Committee will take public comments in person only. The public may view the meeting on the County's Video on Demand website.

Z22-000011 (JBPro Office Small-Scale Comprehensive Plan Amendment) – This is a request by Kathie Ebaugh, AICP of JBPro, agents, for Valentina Ayala, DMD, Richard G. Spooner, DMD, Alecia S. MacDonald, DMD, Kenneth W. Knopf, DMD, C God String, LLC, and BCI Development, Inc., owners, for a small-scale Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment. The amendment would change the future land use designation from Low Density Residential (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) to Office/Residential on tax parcel numbers 06121-000-000, 06121-004-000, 06121-005-000 and 06121-006-000. The parcels are zoned RP (Residential/Professional) and R-1a (single-family residential, 1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) and total approximately 3.34 acres. The site is located at 3500 N.W. 43rd Street. Z22-000012 (JBPro Office Rezoning) – This is a request by Kathie Ebaugh, AICP of JBPro, agents, for BCI Development, Inc., owners, for a rezoning from the R-1a (single-family residential, 1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) to the RP (Residential/Professional) district on tax parcel number 06121-004-000. The site is approximately 1.34 acres and located at 4475 N.W. 46th Avenue. This application is related to Z22-000011 which is a request to change this parcel's and adjoining parcels' future land use designation from Low Density Residential (1 to 4 dwelling units/acre) to Office. The site is located in the Agriculture zoning district and has a future land use designation of Rural/Agriculture (1 dwelling unit/5 acres). The site is a 0.23 acre portion of parcel 07770-000-000, located on N. County Rd. 225, to the northwest of the Gainesville Raceway.
