The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m. The public may offer comments virtually and in person. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status.

ZOS-01-21 (Alachua County Fire Rescue Station 80 Special Use Permit) – This is a request by Craig Brashier of CHW, Inc., agent, for Alachua County, owner, for a special use permit to allow a fire/rescue station (Station 80) in the Agriculture zoning district. The facility would provide emergency services to the citizens of Alachua County. The site has a future land use designation of Low-Density Residential (1-4 dwelling units per acre) and is approximately 2.88 acres, located on tax parcel number 06666-000-000 at 10404 S.W. 24th Avenue.
