The Alachua County Commission and City of Gainesville Commission will hold a Joint Special Meeting on Monday, September 23, 2019. The meeting begins at 3 p.m., in the Gainesville City Hall Auditorium (200 E University Ave, downtown Gainesville).
The meeting agenda includes:
- Interlocal Agreement between Alachua County and City of Gainesville regarding automatic aid for Fire and EMS Services update
- New funding and policy options to address homelessness in Gainesville and Alachua County
- 8th and Waldo Corridor update

The public is invited to attend the meeting. It will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12, and the County’s Video on Demand website. It will not be available on the County’s Facebook page.
