The Alachua County Commission will conduct two Special Meetings on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville) in the Grace Knight Conference Room. The morning meeting begins at 10 a.m., and the afternoon meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.
Masks for vulnerable citizens are strongly recommended. The public may view the meetings on Cox Channel 12 and the County’s
Video on Demand website.
In-person public comment will be taken for the agenda items and the public will also have an opportunity to speak about items not on the agendas. Members of the public who wish to speak are asked to limit their comments to three minutes.
10 a.m. meeting items of interest:
- Presentation on the Alachua County Tree Protection Code and buffer requirements
- Cottage neighborhoods
1:30 p.m. meeting items of interest:
- Inclusionary housing discussion
- Planning Parcel and Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND) Standards for non-residential/affordable housing
