The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the upcoming 4-H Program. This program is being offered by Amanda Morgan, 4-H Agent, at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office (2800 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville).
4-H Dog Day – April 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
4-H Dog Day is the kickoff event for the new 4-H dog training program in Alachua County. Families can come to the Extension Office with their dogs on April 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for activities, a hot dog lunch, a dog agility demonstration, and information on upcoming dog training for 4-H members. Youth do not need to be members of 4-H to attend this event – all youth ages 8-18 are invited to attend and learn more about 4-H dog training. Future trainings will include dog agility, obedience, rally, and more. Dogs must be current on rabies vaccination.
