The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pleased to announce the “Bringing the Farm to School” training.
Bringing the Farm to School Training – April 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)
The Farm-to-School training opportunity is for farmers, producers, community partners, and school food authorities.
The training includes:
- Learning about accessing school markets and growing products for schools.
- Hearing from producers who have successfully navigated school markets.
- Gaining new knowledge and resources for integrating school markets into your business plan.
- Meeting local peers and experts and having an opportunity to ask questions.
