Bringing the Farm to School Training

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is pleased to announce the “Bringing the Farm to School” training.

Bringing the Farm to School Training – April 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)

The Farm-to-School training opportunity is for farmers, producers, community partners, and school food authorities. 

The training includes:

  • Learning about accessing school markets and growing products for schools.
  • Hearing from producers who have successfully navigated school markets.
  • Gaining new knowledge and resources for integrating school markets into your business plan.
  • Meeting local peers and experts and having an opportunity to ask questions.

There is no cost to attend, but participants must register online.
