Other than emergency services, all Alachua County offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019, in observance of Veterans Day.
Residential curbside collection service for solid waste, recycling, and yard trash will not be affected by the Veterans Day holiday. The Transfer Station at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and the five Alachua County Rural Collection Centers will be open during their regularly scheduled hours.
The Office of Waste Collection and the Hazardous Waste Center at the Leveda Brown Environmental Park will be closed on Monday. All facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Tuesday, November 12.
