Alachua County is actively seeking dedicated individuals for the Economic Development Advisory Committee.
There are three vacancies: An at-large citizen, a City of Gainesville representative and an alternate member. Members serve four-year terms. If you are committed to promoting sustainable economic development activities within Alachua County, the county invites you to apply.
The committee advises and guides policies that impact economic development within our community. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with others who share a commitment to business development and recruitment.
The Economic Development Advisory Committee meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (excluding July, November and December) at 2:30 p.m. at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville) in the Grace Knight Conference Room. Meetings typically last one hour, though they may vary depending on the agenda.
