February Environmental Horticulture Program

The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Environmental Horticulture program for February 2024. This program is offered by Dr. Cynthia Nazario-Leary, an agent of Environmental Horticulture, and master gardener volunteers.

Managing Pests in the Home Garden & Landscape – Feb. 13, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)

This class will discuss which pests are beneficial and which are not by using integrated pest management in your home garden and landscape. Learn how to avoid pest problems, evaluate whether to act when they occur, and manage pests effectively with minimal environmental impacts.

There is no registration fee, but participants must register online. This class is limited to 100 participants.
