Hurricane Helene Update 15 - County urges residents to stay off roadways

​​To give residents an idea of the conditions outside, these are the reported downed trees and power lines around Alachua County. The icons can represent multiple trees/lines in a general vicinity, not exact locations. As more response crews access the roads, we will likely identify more downed trees/lines and other hazards.

As of 6 a.m., Alachua County has more than 82,000 households without power. Please stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary. Thank you for your patience as we work with local utility crews to restore power.
