Alachua County, the City of Gainesville, the Gainesville Housing Authority, and the Alachua County Housing Authority are hosting a series of community meetings to identify fair housing issues, contributing factors, and goals to further fair housing. Residents are encouraged to share their concerns regarding fair housing and assist with drafting the Joint Assessment of Fair Housing (required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development). Those living within the City of Gainesville and Alachua County, housing agencies, social services agencies, healthcare providers, realtors, lenders, and other stakeholders are invited to attend and provide input.

Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the Department of Community Support Services, Thomas Coward Auditorium (218 S.E. 24th Street, Gainesville)
Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the Southwest Advocacy Group Family Resource Center (807 S.E. 64th Terrace, Gainesville)
