July 4-H Program

​The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following 4-H program for July 2024. This program is being offered by Jesse Price, Program Coordinator.

4-H In-School Program Teacher Workshop – July 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry)

The event is free for K-12 teachers in Alachua County. The workshop will feature hands-on demonstrations of various programs for attendees to actively engage in and implement in their classrooms while also highlighting how these programs align with state standards. The featured programs include all about snakes, embryology, school gardens, and various environmental educational programs, like Project Learning Tree.

There is no registration fee to attend, but participants must register online by July 5. Lunch will be provided. This program is limited to 50 participants.
