November Commercial Horticulture Program 2018

The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Commercial Horticulture Program for November 2018. This program is being offered by Dr. Tatiana Sanchez, Commercial Horticulture Agent.

Beginner Beekeeping – November 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the UF Entomology & Nematology Department (1881 Natural Area Dr., Gainesville)

This class is designed for beginner and intermediate beekeepers. It is the first of a series of workshops that help participants manage the needs of their hive throughout the year. After the smoker demonstration, clothes may absorb the smell (please plan accordingly).

The registration fee is $25.00, and includes lunch and materials. Participants must register online by October 31. There are no refunds for registration costs.
