The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following 4-H Program for October 2018. This program is being offered by Amanda Morgan, 4-H Youth Development Agent, at the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County (2800 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville).
Maker Day Camp – October 19, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. (with Mary Lee Andrewskiewicz, 4-H Program Coordinator)
Youth between the ages of 8-12 will learn about electricity, engineering, physics, and economics in science. All of the projects are going to give opportunities to explore the different principles with minimal guidance. No background knowledge is required. Youth who might like science, technology, or engineering but haven’t had the chance to learn much about it are encouraged to attend. Participants must bring their lunch.
Participants must register online. The registration fee is $25.00 (with an additional $3.16 fee). There are no refunds for registration fees.
