Railroad Crossing Construction

CSX constructionFrom April 10 to 11, 2019, CSX Transportation will close S.E. 138th Place at the railroad crossing just west of the US HWY 301 entrance/exit of Lochloosa Shores subdivision. CSX will construct a temporary driveway for emergency, school, postal, and garbage services.

Construction hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. No vehicles will be able to cross during the time of construction. Drivers should plan their commutes accordingly by leaving earlier or placing a secondary vehicle on the other side of the track, etc.

Day one will consist of removing the old crossing and installing a new crossing. A temporary crossing will be provided for vehicular traffic when CSX leaves for the day (drivers should use caution when crossing). On day two, CSX will pave the crossing, which will be back in service later that evening.
