The Alachua County Public Works Department will be performing road construction on the roundabout at Southwest 24th Avenue and Southwest 91st Street on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
The roundabout will be closed as part of Alachua County’s Southwest 24th Avenue resurfacing project. The construction will require the roundabout at the intersection to be closed to through traffic on May 1. The work is expected to be complete in one day and the roundabout will be re-opened by Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Detours will be in place to redirect traffic on Southwest 24th Avenue via School House Road/Southwest 30th Avenue/Southwest 87th Way. Traffic traveling to Southwest 91st Street will be detoured via Southwest 17th Avenue/ Southwest 88th Street/ Southwest 87 Way.
