The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Livestock Program for September 2017. This program is being offered by Dr. Cindy Sanders, Livestock Agent.
Homestead Poultry Workshop – September 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the UF/IFAS Extension Marion County Office (2232 N.E. Jacksonville Road, Ocala)
Topics include breed selection, disease and parasites, nutrition for backyard laying flocks, egg production and incubation, biosecurity, harvesting guidelines, and more.
The registration fee is $12.00 (includes lunch). Participants can register online. There are no refunds for registration costs.
