Storm Debris Clean-up Update

Alachua County crews have almost finished the first pass through unincorporated Alachua County. All storm debris must be curbside no later than November 30, 2017.

Starting Tuesday, November 14, 2017, flag crews will be working on S.W. 75th Street (from Newberry Road to S.W. 97th Avenue) in unincorporated Alachua County removing storm debris. This work is estimated to last four days.
Several County roads and roads in the unincorporated County require certified flag crews. Cleaning debris on these roads will occur based on crew availability.

These additional roads include:

  • N.W. 98th Street (from Newberry Road to 39th Avenue)
  • N.W. 39th Avenue
  • N.W. 23rd Avenue
  • N.W. 43rd Street
  • S.W. 24th Avenue
  • Parker Road
  • County Road 241 (north of Newberry Road)
  • East University Avenue (east of the State Road 26 split)
