Three Residential Storm Debris Drop-Off Sites Opened

Alachua County has opened three residential storm debris sites for those in the County who wish to haul their own storm debris.

The site locations are:

20 Acre Borrow Pit
4100 N.E. 73rd Avenue in Fairbanks
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Old NW Landfill
15530 N.W. 173rd Street (CR 235a) in Alachua
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Archer RCC (Old S.W. Landfill)
19401 S.W. Archer Road in Archer
Hours: Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Please follow these important rules:

  • These sites are for Alachua County residents only. Users must bring proof of residence (a utility bill and a driver’s license are required). 
  • No commercial storm debris is allowed.
  • These sites are for storm debris only. 
  • These sites are for tree debris only (no bagged debris, yard trash, or shrubbery).
