The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m.

Z26-000013: West End Community Park PD Amendment – This is a request by EDA, Inc. (agent) for Alachua County (owner) for a major amendment to the West End Planned Development (PD) district on approximately 75 acres located at 12830 West Newberry Road on parcel numbers 04333-001-000 and 04314-000-000. The proposed amendment will permit uses for the West End Community Park consistent with the Recreational land use of the property.
