The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (room 209) on the second floor of the County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

ZOM-02-19 – This is a request by Ryan Thompson of CHW, Inc., agent, for Midgard Self Storage Newberry, LLC, owner, to rezone from ‘BW’ (Wholesale/Warehouse) district to ‘PD’ (non-residential Planned Development) district to allow existing self-storage, truck rental and a security quarters. The site is approximately 8.6 acres in size and has a future land use designation of Commercial. It is located on tax parcel number 04350-000-000 at 300 S.W. 143rd Street.
