July Family and Consumer Sciences Program

​The University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Science (UF/IFAS) Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Family and Consumer Sciences program for July 2021. This program is being offered by Martha B. Maddox, Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent IV.

Meals in a Minute with your Electric Pressure Cooker Webinar Series – July 15, August 5 & August 12, 2021, 1:00 p.m. & repeated again at 6:00 p.m. This is a Zoom webinar.

Time is precious to all of us. Learn how to reduce meal cooking time and use less energy too, while preparing healthy nutritious meals. This webinar is a series and will be conducted on the dates listed below for both day (1:00 p.m.) and evening (6:00 p.m.) sessions. The series consists of the following topics:

  • July 15, 2021: Basic 101 – Cooking Under Pressure and Cleaning Techniques & Accessories for your Electric Pressure Cooker
  • August 5, 2021: Frozen to on your Table in Minutes
  • August 12, 2021:  Make-Ahead Meals in Minutes

The registration fee for all sessions is $20.00.  Participants must register online. Individuals will receive a book with detailed program materials and recipes. After you have registered through Eventbrite you will receive an email confirmation containing information about joining the Zoom webinar series.  Limited to 450 participants. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
