4-1-21 Development Review Committee Meeting

The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This hybrid meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. The public may attend and participate (offer comments) in this meeting virtually and in-person.

The public who attend in-person must wear a facial covering at all times. Public seating will be made available up to the capacity that permits adequate social distancing.

The public may attend virtually through Cox Channel 12 and the County's Video on Demand website. For meeting audio-only, call 301-715-8592, and when prompted, use meeting code 670 965 3024.

For the public who attend virtually, once the public comment is opened for an item under discussion, please call 929-505-6099 (enter meeting code 273 174 8038). Callers will be put in a queue, and prompted when it is their turn to speak. TO AVOID FEEDBACK, SPEAKERS MUST TURN DOWN THE VOLUME ON THEIR DEVICE WHEN ADDRESSING THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW COMMITTEE. Callers should state their names and limit comments to two minutes. When prompted for in-person comment, in person participants should follow the direction of the Chair to participate.

Park Avenue TND, Phase 2 – This is a Revised Final Development Plan Review for an additional 12 units to Phase 2 of an existing TND on approximately 2.71 acres, located on Tax Parcel Number 06230-032-000 in the 8200 Block of N.W. 39th Avenue. Two previously advertised items will request deferral:

Mandel Boat Dock and Boathouse – This is a Final Development Plan and Floodplain Development Permit Review for a proposed boat dock replacement with expansion of covered areas on approximately 0.4 acres, located on Tax Parcel Number 06103-0-000 at 2732 S.E. CR 21B Melrose (Bradford County) View the Staff Report and back-up materials. The applicant has requested deferral of this item. Staff will recommend that the DRC defer time certain to May 6. DEFERRED - Lawson Dock and Boathouse – This is a Final Development Plan and Floodplain Development Permit Review for a proposed boat dock replacement and new covered boathouse on 0.42 acres, located on Tax Parcel Number 06230-D-10600 at 466 S.W. 5th Avenue, Melrose (Bradford County) -This application has been deferred by Staff.
