9-19-24 Development Review Committee Meeting

​​The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, in the Jack Durrance Auditorium at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 1:30 p.m.

The Committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting will not be available on Cox Cable Channel 12. The public may view the meeting on the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), and the County’s Video on Demand website.

Newberry Park TND Block 2 – This is a revised Final Development Plan to revise conditions, and outline phasing of construction for a proposed gas station, restaurant with drive through, and various other commercial uses totaling approximately 19,711 SF square feet on approximately 1.30 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel Number 04322-001-002 at 12051 W Newberry Road.

Alachua County Kate Barnes Boat Ramp Improvements – This is a Final Development Plan and Flood Plain Development Permit to replace an existing boarding dock at the boat ramp and add accessible parking/route to amenities, courtesy dock, and stormwater treatment on approximately 0.25 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel 18354-059-031 at 18700 S CR 325.

Park Avenue TND Phase 2B – Revised Final Development Plan to construct a 3,200 sf commercial building on approximately 1.53 acres. It is located on Tax Parcel 06230-032-000 at 8181 NW 39th Ave.
