9-21-22 Planning Commission Meeting

The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m. Masks for vulnerable citizens are strongly recommended.

The Committee will take public comment in person only. The public may view the meeting on the County's Video on Demand website.

Z22-000004 (Island Grove Farmworker Housing Special Exception) – This is a request by Erik Polumbo of Effective Project Management, Inc., agent, for Island Grove, LLC, owners, for a special exception to allow farmworker housing on approximately 4.493 acres. It is located on a portion of parcel 20157-000-000. This parcel has a future land use designation of Rural/Agriculture (1 dwelling per 5 acres) and is located at 19225 SE 243rd Street.
