Alachua County is aware of concerns associated with an Animal Resources vaccine clinic held in August without the knowledge of the current director.
As soon as the director became aware that the event had taken place, the county began looking into the matter.
The county takes its responsibility to the public and the animals in its care seriously. When issues are identified, they are addressed promptly, with the goal of maintaining accountability, professional standards and public confidence.
