County Offices Closed to the Public - County Government Still Operating

Beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020, most County offices will be closed to the public.

The County will continue to function within the limits of this working model, which includes some employees working remotely from home and some reporting to work. There will be no interruption of critical services such as Fire/Rescue response.

There will be limited public access to buildings housing functions such as Court Services, the Crisis Center, and some Building department services. Call ahead to determine the accessibility.

The main number for each County Department will be answered. Go to the Alachua County website to find contact numbers.

The March 24, 2020, Alachua County Commission meeting has been canceled.

Poe Springs Park is closed, and buildings (restrooms, gathering places) in all parks are closed.

For more information, contact Alachua County Communications Director Mark Sexton at 352-264-6979 or msexton@alachuacounty.us.
