This summit marks a key milestone in the Forward Focus: Eastern Alachua County initiative and is an essential and critical opportunity for residents, businesses, and local leaders to help shape the region's future. The event will feature collaborative discussions and workshops designed to generate ideas and identify community-driven solutions. Lunch will be provided.

To register, please visit forwardfocus.alachuacounty.us. Space is limited.

The summit will address several focus areas critical to the long-term success and vitality of eastern Alachua County, including:

  • Post-secondary education & workforce development
  • Health & well-being
  • Early childhood

During the event, county staff will present Forward Focus Year 1 highlights, share progress made since the project’s launch, and outline next steps in the initiative’s development. Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with county representatives and provide feedback that will help shape a comprehensive strategic plan for the coming years.

To support families, childcare services will also be available for children (ages 4 to 12). Space is limited to 25 children to ensure a safe and engaging experience, with fun, interactive games and activities offered while parents participate in the summit.

Participants who have previously attended Forward Focus sessions are strongly encouraged to attend the summit as well and remain involved.
