Weseman/EcoLoop land-use amendments
The commission heard a presentation on planned land-use amendments for the Weseman Property and Eco Loop. The 260-acre site is in the northeastern portion of the county, off State Road 24, adjacent to the Leveda Brown Environmental Park and Transfer Station.
Proposed changes include eliminating existing land-use mentions of a public fairground, as well as allowing industrial, governmental, and waste-related services site-wide. The proposal would also prevent a data center from being built on the property. Any potential developments will go before the commission for approval.
