January Environmental Horticulture Program

The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Environmental Horticulture program for January 2025. Environmental Horticulture Agent Cynthia Nazario-Leary and Master Gardener volunteers are offering this program.

Propagation 101: Starting Seeds & Preparing Cuttings – Jan. 14, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Rd., Newberry)

Starting seeds and preparing cuttings require essential tools, equipment, and growing media. Presenters will demonstrate these two propagation techniques while discussing planting dates, seed recommendations, plant selection for cuttings, and proper use of tools.

There is no registration fee, but participants must register online. It is limited to 100 participants.
