The Alachua County Public Works Department announced that AT&T will perform maintenance work on Northwest 16th Avenue (between Northwest 22nd Street and Northwest 34th Street).
Daily lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound lanes are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 21. Access to all side streets and neighborhoods will remain open during the work.
Crews will replace a utility pole near Northwest 15th Place and install new cables on utility poles along Northwest 16th Avenue.
The Public Works Department advises drivers to use caution in the construction zone and to consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
