The UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office is pleased to announce the following Family Consumer Science Program for November 2025. Northeast District Extension agents are offering this program.
Building A Food Business Outside the Home –– Nov. 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Alachua County Ag Auditorium (22716 W. Newberry Road, Newberry).
This program teaches how to own and operate a food business, including permitting, LLC information, regulations, insurance, taxes and business plans.
The $35 registration fee includes training materials and lunch. Participants must register online by Thursday, Oct.30, 2025. It is limited to 50 participants. There are no refunds within one week of the training start date.
