I am grateful to our teachers, first responders, healthcare workers, those who volunteer with local nonprofits, and public employees who keep us safe and supported, as well as the countless individuals whose work keeps our community thriving. From small business owners and service workers to farmers, tradespeople, professionals, and caregivers in every field, your dedication and hard work are essential to the strength and well-being of our county.
Thanksgiving also reminds us of the importance of fellowship. Whether you’re gathering with family, sharing a meal with friends, working to serve others, or reaching out to a neighbor who might need support, these acts of kindness and connection strengthen the fabric of our community.
