Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will temporarily close the County Road 320 bridge over Interstate 75, near Micanopy, Marion County, for repairs. The CR 320 bridge at I-75 will be continuously closed, beginning as early as 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, until bridge repairs are completed in the week of Feb. 8.
These bridge repairs will also require overnight closures of I-75 southbound at the CR 320 bridge. These will occur nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. on both Monday, Jan. 26, and Tuesday, Jan. 27, and again the week of Feb. 8. Details for the February closures will be shared once more information is available.
The following detours are outlined below:
CR 320 bridge continuous closure detour information:
- To access CR 320 east of I-75: Head south on CR 329, then turn left on NW 193 Street, then left again onto northbound US 441. Continue north on U.S. 441 to access CR 320.
- To access CR 320 west of I-75: Head south on U.S. 441, then turn right on NW 193 Street, then right again to access CR 320.
I-75 southbound overnight closures detour information
Motorists traveling southbound on I-75 will be directed to take exit 374 to CR 234.
Motorists can turn either left or right onto CR 234 to return to I-75 southbound.
- If turning left onto CR 234, motorists should then turn right onto US 441, turn right onto CR 318, and follow signage to return to I-75.
- If turning right onto CR 234, motorists should continue on CR 234, which eventually turns into CR 329. From southbound CR 329, turn left onto CR 318, and then follow signage to return to I-75.
FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs, stay alert, and use caution. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
